Manage your security settings, API configuration, and synced data from the Account Settings page. Access it by clicking the person icon at the bottom of the left sidebar.
API Configuration
Secret Key
Your Secret Key is the unique authentication token that your MetaTrader EA uses to securely sync data with InnovaDash. It is displayed on the Account Settings page under API Configuration, and is also shown during the first-launch tutorial. Click the copy icon to copy it to your clipboard.
Regenerating Your Secret Key
If you believe your Secret Key has been compromised, you can generate a new one instantly by clicking “Regenerate Secret Key” on the Account Settings page. Warning: Generating a new key will instantly break the connection with your active MT4/MT5 EA. You must paste the newly generated key into the EA inputs in your MetaTrader terminal to resume syncing. A confirmation dialog will appear before the key is regenerated.
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Setting Up 2FA
To enable Two-Factor Authentication:
- 1. Navigate to the Account Settings page.
- 2. Click “Set Up 2FA”.
- 3. A QR code will appear. Scan it with your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
- 4. Enter the 6-digit code generated by your app to verify the setup.
- 5. Important: A set of one-time recovery codes will be displayed. Copy and store these in a safe place. These codes can be used to access your account if you lose your authenticator device.
Once enabled, each new login session will prompt you to enter a 6-digit code from your authenticator app before the dashboard is accessible.
Disabling 2FA
To disable 2FA, go to Account Settings and click “Disable 2FA”. You will need to confirm this action. Once disabled, you will no longer be prompted for a code at login.
Data Management
Clear MetaTrader Data
You can perform a hard wipe of your synced data by clicking “Clear MetaTrader Data” on the Account Settings page. This permanently deletes all synced trade history, stats, account data, and open trade information from your InnovaDash environment. A confirmation dialog with a verification prompt will appear before the action is executed.
Important: Your actual MetaTrader broker account and its data remain completely unaffected. This only clears data from InnovaDash’s database. Once cleared, your EA will need to re-sync your trade history from your terminal.
Additional Settings
Theme Preference
Your Dark/Light mode preference is saved to both local browser storage (for instant loading) and synced to the cloud via Firestore (for cross-device consistency). Toggle the sun/moon icon in the top-right corner of the dashboard at any time.
Subscription Management
To view, upgrade, or manage your subscription, open the Account Settings page and navigate to the billing section. This opens an embedded billing page where you can change your plan, update payment details, and view invoice history.
